Pipeline pipe Definition

For oil, gas or water transportation . Line pipe convey the oil, gas or water to petroleum and gas industrial enterprise. There are two kinds of line pipe, which is seamless line pipe and welded line pipe. There is plain, threaded and socket ends, accordingly they connect with each other via welding, thread and socket connection.

2What is the anticorrosive materials pipeline pipes?
Bai anti-corrosion adhesive tape for pipeline: polyethylene adhesive tape, du660 polyethylene anti-corrosion adhesive tape, polypropylene reinforced fiber zhi anti-corrosion adhesive tape, viscoelastic anti-corrosion adhesive tape, epoxy coal asphalt cold wrapping tape, aluminum foil anti-ultraviolet anti-corrosion adhesive tape, polyvinyl chloride anti-corrosion adhesive tape, three-layer structure polyethylene anti-corrosion adhesive tape, anti-corrosion adhesive tape matching primer, caulking putty, viscoelastic anti-corrosion paste and molding cement;
Heat shrinkable tape for pipeline: heat shrinkable tape (open sleeve), heat shrinkable sleeve (closed sleeve), heat shrinkable winding tape, solvent-free epoxy primer, patch rod, patch and hot melt adhesive strip;

3.The differences between PSL1 and PSL2 pipeline pipes?
A, PSL is the abbreviation of product specification level.
B. the product specification level of pipeline pipe is divided into PSL1 and PSL2, or the quality level is divided into PSL1 and PSL2.
C, PSL2 is higher than PSL1, and these two specification levels are not only different in inspection requirements, but also in chemical composition and mechanical properties. therefore, when ordering according to API 5L, the terms in the contract must indicate the product specification level, i.e. PSL1 or PSL2, in addition to the usual indicators such as specifications and steel grades.
D, PSL2 is stricter than PSL1 in terms of chemical composition, tensile properties, impact energy and nondestructive testing. PSL1 does not require impact performance. for all steel grades of PSL2 except x80, the average value of akv at 0℃ is ≥41J in longitudinal direction and ≥27J in transverse direction. X80 steel grade, full-size 0℃ Akv average value: longitudinal ≥101J, transverse ≥68J.
E, pipeline pipes should be subjected to hydraulic pressure test one by one, and the standard does not stipulate that water pressure can be replaced without damage, which is also a big difference between API standard and Chinese standard.
F. PSL1 does not require NDT, but PSL2 should be NDT one by one.
G, the main difference is that the pipe end of PSL2 must be sandblasted, but PSL1 does not, and other places are basically the same.
