After polishing machining, the pipe surface will be more bright, and outside looking will be more nice. Most steel pipe polishing is mechanical polishing, if client get more strict request, electropolishing will be used. Pipe polishing can be divided into internal surface polishing and external surface polishing.

Mechanical polishing
1)Internal surface polishing (using internal polishing machine): the polishing rod is inserted into the pipe to drive the thousand impeller or self-made abrasive belt wheel to rotate at high speed, and the polishing is carried out with the rotation of the steel pipe itself, and the polishing rod is moved forward slowly while rotating.
2)External surface polishing (using external polishing machine): the external polishing materials tells the rotation, and along with the rotation of the steel pipe itself and forward polishing, the principle is the same as the internal polishing. If you feel that the mechanical polishing is not bright enough, we can apply polishing paste properly to increase the brightness.
After polishing, because the surface oxide layer is damaged, it is better to passivate the surface with acid solution, otherwise the surface will get rusty easily.

11.Differences between drawing process and polishing process?
1). The drawing process is repeated movement on the equipment, through which the surface texture of the workpiece is processed. There are many differences between the two principles, and there are also huge differences in actual operation. 3). The drawing process requires different dies and professional process equipment. Polishing equipment required by polishing process is complex, different polishing equipment is required for polishing objects with different materials, and polishing angles are different, so polishing facilities need to be replaced to achieve the effect. Polishing reproduction is more complicated than drawing. Before the wire drawing process, it can be polished to create a good wire drawing environment for the workpiece surface. 22.What are the factors affecting the polishing performance of stainless steel?
1)Surface defects of raw materials. Such as scratches, pitting, pickling, etc. 2) Material problems of raw materials. If the hardness is too low, it will not be polished easily, and orange peel will easily appear on the surface during deep drawing. 3) After deep drawing, small black spots will appear on the surface of the area with great deformation.
33.Will the antirust ability of steel pipe surface be reduced after polishing ?
1). If polished manually (mechanically), the antirust performance of steel pipe surface will decrease. Iron powder and impurities adsorbed on the surface are easy to react with air oxidation. Thereby causing rust. 2). If electrolytic polishing (electrochemical polishing) is used, the antirust performance of steel pipe surface will be improved. After electrolytic polishing, a negative chromium layer will be formed on the surface of the workpiece. It can prevent rust and corrosion.
